2D Artist for Brawler/Platformer needed!

Hey. I am Steffen Simmons. I am currently working on an indie game project, and I am without a game artist. The project that I am requesting help with is called Omega Barrage, a 2D Sci-fi Brawler/Platformer set in the far future with a unique combat system. I am working with a small team which already includes a coder, a music/sound designer, and a story designer/game designer.

The game's combat system is melee focused, and is centered around a 3 button combat system. Every 3 attacks, the player gets a special attack, after which they need 3 more to get an additional special attack. After 3 successful special attacks, the player can use a finishing move called an Omega Barrage(see what we did there:p) before they have to start the process over again. The game's movement consists of basic running and jumping with an 8 directional dash system to accompany it for quick re-situation during combat. The game also has a small in game economy consisting of collecting money and items off of enemies to allow for player progression throughout the game.

As of right now, the game's development just started. Approximately 80% of the story, setting included is written, game mechanics are nowhere near finished aside from the basic movement and the start of the dash system. No levels have been designed yet, but we do have ideas of where they will take place.
